The brand will be present at the festival in June, with its best selection of road and MTB tyres

Hutchinson, a leading French manufacturer of bike tyres, will be the official tyre sponsor of the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show 2018, a cycling, outdoor sport and exhibition festival that is due to take place in Girona from 8-10 June and will combine an expo zone with competitions, exhibitions, a bike test zone and other bicycle-related activities.

As the official tyre sponsor, Hutchinson will bring its most distinguished line of products to the event, including its 11STORM road tyres, which have enjoyed considerable market success since their launch in June 2017 and are road tubeless ready.

Its selection of MTB tyres include the Cobra, Python and Toro models, in addition to a new profile for rallies, which will be released to the public in March. Hutchinson will also be present with the ConecTires application, the world’s connected tyre, which event visitors and participants will have a chance to experience.

According to Aurelie Gonzalo, area manager for Hutchinson, “We are convinced that Sea Otter Europe is an immensely important festival for European cycling, and we don’t want to miss out. Spain is a dynamic market, where people want quality products adapted to suit the local conditions and terrain, and that’s why we’ve developed a strategy to be increasingly present, by sponsoring teams such as BH Burgos, in road cycling, and the MMR Factoring Racing Team, in MTB. We will also take part in high profile events to get as close as possible to the growing Hutchinson community”.

At Hutchinson, a leader in innovation, which has had a permanent research and development department for over 160 years, they are convinced that the quality of their French-made products will help people enjoy the time they spend on their bikes. They work with champions to develop and improve their comprehensive line of tyres and accessories, which can be seen and tested first-hand in Girona during Sea Otter Europe.
