THE BRANDS HAVE EXPANDED THE SPACE THEY’VE PURCHASED AT THE LAST MINUTE
Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental presents the initial list of confirmed brands for its fifth edition in 2021. Great new things are coming soon.
With less than a month to go until Sea Otter Europe, the number of brands that have confirmed their participation in the fantastic cycling festival is growing. Find here the list of exhibitors from Sea Otter Europe.
The organisers affirmed that “we are satisfied with the sector’s response after a year and a half of difficulties and doubts due to the pandemic. In spite of everything, the sector is experiencing a very strong period of growth. The positive feeling are widespread and we expect a great event. The brands that have confirmed their participation will undoubtedly be the main actors of this edition”.
In addition, the organisers pointed out that, during the last week, the festival has had last minute additions and some of them have even asked to expand the space they had originally planned on purchasing. The person in charge of the expo area stated that “the brands understand the importance of this event and have contacted their headquarters to coordinate and get the supply of bicycles they needed. The international teams have been up to the task and have answered the call”. With this in mind, the demobike program is expected to be very powerful. The list of test brands will be published soon.
Sea Otter Europe is a great gathering point for the cycling sector where brands, industry and end users meet to share experiences and interests and everyone comes out a winner. The festival offers the possibility to test bikes, buy products and network among professionals, in addition to being a B2B meeting point and, above all, giving end consumers the opportunity to find new suppliers, customers, ambassadors and more.

As of right now, there are more than 154 stands with a total of 195 confirmed brands. 77.4% of the total expo space is already occupied. 30% of the total corresponds to bicycle brands, 54% to accessories and components and 17.7% to services. In total, new brands represent 28% and repeating brands account for 72% of the space.
The brands come from 15 countries: Austria, Poland, Andorra, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Switzerland, France, the Czech Republic, Portugal, the United States and Spain.

Don’t forget that the festival will be held in Girona next to the Fontajau sports pavilion. Free, unsupervised parking areas will be available near the festival. Access to the festival is done by open entry. You must get your ticket through this link. The organising team’s vision of the festival’s future
When asked how they see the festival’s future, they stated that “we see the future of the festival as a festival of reference in Europe, in festival format and mainly oriented to the end customer. It’s a veritable cycling theme park where you can cycle and make purchasing decisions (in the expo area and through the demobike programme) and connect with brands in a digital era”.
They added “in addition, we believe that Sea Otter Europe should not only be a sporting event, but also have a focus on sustainable mobility. Right now, this topic is in the spotlight around the world and extremely necessary and urgent. As a reference event, we want to be part of this transformation”.
