The French credit company is fully committed to Sea Otter Europe in order to continue developing as an engaged and sustainable social enterprise.
Cetelem, part of the BNP Paribas Group and a specialist in consumer credit, personal loans, and card management, has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Sea Otter Europe for the third edition in 2019. Cetelem is present in 29 countries and has 27 million customers across four continents.
Cetelem’s commitment to the bike sector is constant and ever growing. Their services are one of the driving forces behind the development of the cycling sector facilitating access to finance for bicycle users with operations that are swift, simple and 100% digital and advising customers and stores in a clear and transparent manner throughout the credit purchase process for BOTH E-COMMERCE AND IN STORE. Cetelem also carries out sectoral studies on consumer behaviour, such as the third edition of the bike observatory, which will be presented next November and which has already become a benchmark for the sector. Cetelem Spain is also actively involved in distribution as a financing partner of more than 600 physical and e-commerce stores and is the exclusive financial partner of ATEBI, the association that groups together bike stores.
This is why Cetelem has once again chosen the Sea Otter Europe festival as an event in which it can continue to develop as an engaged and sustainable social enterprise. Values that are reasserted by its commitment to the world of cycling and the sponsorship format.
Through its participation in the last edition of Sea Otter Europe, the company came to two very positive conclusions:
The first was that consumers are constantly evolving thanks to new technologies and to being better informed throughout the purchasing process.
The second concerns how new cycling events – with a format similar or identical to that of Sea Otter Europe – tend to engage in a very direct manner with final customers. In these festivals, they are able to test out products and participate in a wide range of activities, in which the sponsorship brand is always close at hand in a friendly and approachable way.
Finally, Cetelem (BNP Paribas Group) notes that at the last edition of Sea Otter Europe in 2018 many events took place outdoors with high levels of participation in sports events and activities, and excellent organisation prior to and throughout the event. For the forthcoming edition, Cetelem is already preparing some interesting presentations and initiatives for the sector.
