‘Registration Month’ opens on 8 April with a special registration price available until 8 May

This is the ultimate challenge, as participants strive to complete the entire Pirinexus route alone in a maximum of 18 hours, arriving at Sea Otter Europe before 12 midnight.

In 2022 the route will go in a clockwise direction from the starting point: first towards the Pyrenees, before returning to Girona on the Costa Brava with a total distance of 340 km and 3,000 metres of accumulated elevation gain.

The route is an excellent mix of trails and paths through the picturesque landscapes of the Costa Brava, with ideal autumn temperatures. The non-stop event will be a true challenge for all riders.

Participants will have to pass through three checkpoints by a certain time to ensure the event keeps at a good pace, offering milestones that must be overcome in order to make headway in the challenge.

At the end, participants who manage to complete the entire course before 12 midnight will be presented with a finisher’s trophy to remind them of this glorious day. What’s more, participants who arrive at Sea Otter Europe before sunset will receive a special gift. The event is an exciting time trial against the clock, or in this case the setting sun.
