Sea Otter Europe begins to create high expectations with 80% of the EXPO space already booked up and working on a second expo zone growth

Confirmation of the addition of leading brands from the cycling sector suggests we are in store for a great edition and starting to work on a second expo zone growth

In the midst of the Sea Otter Europe expo zone sales campaign, the response and interest from brands in playing a part in the European festival continues to be very encouraging for the organisers, in view of what could once again be a key edition for the festival’s growth.

For this edition the organization is already working on a second expo zone growth

This initial booking period offered a glimpse of how the festival will evolve this year, confirming not only that major brands are returning but that they are doing so with larger stands.

From 1 February, with booking opening for new brands, the team started to work on the possibility of expanding and making more space available for booking.

The increase in size planned for 2022 was designed to re-accommodate spaces that did not feature in 2021 as well as to create a new area reserved especially for bike brands. However, this increase is already proving insufficient and the organisers of Sea Otter Europe, due to interest from the professional sector, can now confirm that the expo zone will be further expanded.

The festival is seen as an opportunity for brands to come into contact with end customers. So, as well as being able to see leading brands from the sector, the festival will bring visitors in touch with new, lesser-known firms offering a range of products that are very competitive in terms of price and quality and that are very much in line with market demand.

In view of this situation, the festival continues to be committed to strengthening and improving the Demobike programme with bike testing for practically all types of bikes (MTB, gravel, road, urban and especially e-bikes). Without losing sight of accessories and components brands, whose products will also be available for testing so that visitors can be even more sure of making the right decision when it comes to purchasing.

Cycling destinations and tourism and urban mobility: areas that Sea Otter Europe wants to stimulate

With the festival making a name for itself within the industry, the challenge the organisers are now aiming for is to highlight and strengthen areas of the festival that also contribute to the world of cycling.

Among other things, this involves the recovery of urban mobility and the promotion of tourist destinations through cycling. For this, the Costa Brava-Girona region will serve as a reference point in addition to other major countries and international capitals that are also recognised as cycling paradises tailored towards cyclists.

From 23 to 25 September, it will not only be possible to keep up to date with the latest developments in the sporting sector but also to take a closer look at the rest of the world and some of the places where you can explore new regions on two wheels as well as brands with a special link to urban mobility. All this can be discovered through the Sea Otter Europe Green Zone.
