Two route options so you can enjoy gravel like never before. Registration opens on 11 February at a special price until 8 April.

Gravel is a cycling discipline on the up. A way of life and a way of doing sport that allows you to discover regions, either by road or by trail. Therefore, for the 2020 edition, the Girona Gravel Ride comes with new features that will ensure all gravel aficionados won’t want to miss an event with something for everyone.

On 31 May, all participants will be able to choose between a more moderate route of 60 km and 400 m+ or a tougher route of 77 km and 900 m+. Two 100% cycle-friendly routes with that pure gravel spirit.

Both routes will be followed by means of GPS, with routes supplied prior to the event. Thanks to the Girona Gravel Ride adventure, participants will be able to discover the region of Girona.

Both routes will leave Girona in a southerly direction, sharing the same route for the first 40 kilometres. They’ll make their way through Plana de la Selva along wide trails and gentle terrain with no technical difficulties.

There will be a solid and liquid refreshment zone at KM 40, where the two routes will also go their separate ways. The 60-km route will return to Girona along a combination of easy trails and bike lanes.

The 77-km route, on the other hand, will be a lot tougher, heading into Les Gavarres mountains to escape the traffic and large residential areas until you can feel the silence of the most remote corners of the region.
