The high number of brands confirming their participation in the festival shows how the cycling industry is in tip-top shape

Booking for the expo zone of the Sea Otter Europe festival to be held on 24, 25 and 26 September, 2021 in the city of Girona has commenced. This year the organisers have launched a new booking system that is quicker, easier and more intuitive for brands to use. Thanks to an online, digital platform, brands can see their location within the festival, reserve the space, and pay for it in a completely online process.

Once again, and as a reminder, a full refund will be provided in case of cancellation of the event, and the price per m2 remains the same as last year.

First few zones sold out and big brands confirmed

Bicycle brands did not have to think twice about taking part once again in the expo zone of the Sea Otter Europe festival and their confirmations have been coming in fast.

What’s more, an extensive bike testing programme is planned, in view of the high number of brands that have contracted the test management platform.

Confirmed cycling brands for 2021 include Bergamont, BH Bikes, Bulls, Cannondale, Canyon, Corretec, Cube, Fischer, Focus, Ghost, Gobik, GT, Haibike, Intense, KTM, Lapierre, MMR, Megamo, Moustache Bikes, Orbea, Scott and Specialized.

As of 9 February, 2021, the festival has a total of 85 confirmed stands, which means 45% of the expo zone has already been sold. For this reason the RED zone (former zone A) and the PINK zone (former zone B) are no longer available for booking and have their sold out sign up.

Sea Otter Europe: proud to have first-class sponsors

The festival has a number of first-class sponsors for this 2021 edition. Most of these brands are renewing their contracts and continuing in their commitment to Europe’s Bike Show.

Local administrations have reinforced their strategy in order to be THE destination of choice for cyclists, by welcoming the festival for the fifth consecutive year. Girona Provincial Council, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, Girona City Council and the Government of Catalonia remain unconditionally committed to promoting the region and putting it at the centre of international cycling.

Continental will be our Title Partner with its clear strategy aimed at aligning itself with internationally-renowned premium cycling events with high media and economic impact. As Global Partner the brand will be the sponsor of all the Sea Otters: USA (7–10 October 2021), Canada (July 2021) and Australia (1–4 October 2021), in addition to other events such as the Tour de France and La Vuelta.

Canyon, the leading online bike retailer and our Silver Partner, will be joining us on this adventure. For an event that is tailor-made for bike testing they will be bringing their entire demo fleet including their renewed eBike fleet: Power:on Game:on, which will be available for testing during the festival weekend.

Abus, our Official Partner and supplier of the event’s official helmet, joins for the first time as a sponsor of the festival. The German helmet brand is synonymous with safety and cutting-edge technology geared towards protecting cyclists, who are often so vulnerable on the roads and in the mountains. The brand is synonymous with smart shopping in order to achieve this goal: helping cyclists feel safe and protected without sacrificing aesthetics.

Cetelem, our Official Partner, accompanies us by offering consumer loans with more than favourable conditions for consumers, a very interesting option for anyone wanting to buy the bicycle of their dreams in instalments owing to a lack of immediate funds. Cetelem is the solution.
