The event, which will be held on September 18 at the SOE Connect space, will analyze the state of the Spanish and European bicycle market with the participation of experts and industry representatives.
The Association of Brands and Bicycles of Spain (AMBE) will hold a new edition of the Bicycle Sector Meeting on September 18, a key event for industry professionals taking place within the framework of Shimano Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Garmin.
The Meeting will once again bring together manufacturers, distributors, specialized retailers, companies, institutions, and industry representatives to share knowledge, analyze market evolution, and debate the main challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of the sector.
The day will begin with a welcome coffee to encourage networking among attendees. Next, Javier López, Data Manager at AMBE, will present the latest edition of the Spanish Bicycle Sector Barometer, the benchmark report that covers the main indicators on market evolution, sales, and consumer trends.
Afterward, industry representatives will participate in a round table to analyze the situation of the Spanish market, addressing issues such as the evolution of demand, the transformation of specialized retail, cycling mobility, and the sector’s growth prospects.
The international dimension of the Meeting will come through a dialogue between Jesús Freire, Secretary General of AMBE, and Paul Walsh, CEO of Cycling Industries Europe (CIE), who will offer a vision of the current state of the European cycling industry, market trends, the economic context, and development opportunities for companies.
The day will conclude with a networking brunch at the SOE Business Club, a space designed to encourage the exchange of experiences, strengthen professional relationships, and generate new collaboration opportunities among different industry players.

The Bicycle Sector Meeting will be held within the framework of Shimano Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Garmin, one of the leading international cycling festivals and a strategic meeting point for the industry. From September 18 to 20, Girona will bring together brands, companies, professionals, and thousands of fans in an event that combines a commercial exhibition, innovation, conferences, networking, and top-level sports competitions. In its tenth edition, the festival continues to establish itself as one of the great European showcases for the bicycle sector. Additionally, the SOE Connect space, exclusive for professionals, will take place on both September 17 and 18.
