The biggest Shimano Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Garmin in history is coming

The festival sees notable growth compared to last year and expands the exhibition area by 10%

Shimano Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Garmin will return to the cycling calendar on September 18, 19, and 20. The festival is attracting interest from more and more industry players after years of sustained growth and an edition that promises to beat the record figures achieved last year. The event celebrates its tenth edition and, consolidated as an international benchmark, aims to confirm the upward trend shown by all indicators.

The festival celebrates a 10% growth in the surface area of the exhibition zone. The arrival of new international brands has led to this expansion of the exhibitor space.

One of the keys to the success of Sea Otter Europe lies in the festival’s ability to create a quality space for all industry agents. Thus, brands enjoy a showcase and can see the reactions of the end customer, while users can test, compare, and discover the products exhibited by the firms.

The festival will once again be headlined by top-tier international brands such as Shimano, Garmin, Alé, DMT, Continental, Abus, Finisher, ProRide, or Wikiloc; and will welcome other brands like Volkswagen R or Toteemi. Furthermore, more and more brands in the sector have shown a growing interest in being present.

In total, 97% of the exhibitor space is already booked, which represents an increase in bookings compared to the same period last year.

Brands find sporting events to be another great reason to partner with the festival; as such, the commitment continues with the 226ERS UCI Gravel World Series, the SCOTT Marathon BTT, the Ciclobrava by Lapierre, or the Shimano Super Cup Massi, among others.

Additionally, professionals see a wide range of possibilities for creating synergies, building relationships, and exploring new business avenues through the app. The festival offers expert talks to debate industry opportunities and challenges during two exclusive days under the name Sea Otter Connect.

All of this takes place with the massive program of sporting events as a backdrop. A calendar featuring high-level competitions and non-competitive rides across all modalities and physical requirements; a conglomerate that brought together more than 6,000 professional and amateur athletes last edition.

The festival also has more sponsors than ever, a clear indicator of the event’s great shape, which will once again put Girona at the epicenter of international cycling on September 18, 19, and 20.
